We often assist viable companies who have hit a rough spot in the road, but also those companies in severe distress referred here by professionals who respect our work. Most often, we work with the client outside of the bankruptcy court to negotiate work-outs and restructuring among its creditors. Chapter 11 is a useful remedy for ailing businesses, however, due to its extreme costs and risks, it is often a last resort.
